I purchased Luna from you about a month ago now. I just wanted to share these pictures of her that I took at the sunflower patch the other day. She has been doing extremely well and is close to being house broke! I work in a nursing home and she loves coming to work with me and visiting my residents. They ask me everyday when I'm bringing her in next! Thank you again for all you've done with her and with the ease of this process. She has been an absolute joy and such a good girl!
Just wanted to let you know that Leia is doing great. She had her first haircut today, is in puppy obedience class, and is fitting in perfectly with our family. I think our old dog Ripley sent her to us. She is an amazing and well loved dog. Thanks!
Hello!! I wanted to send a picture of Gypsy (taken today). Oh we love her so much!! She and T-Rex (our other wheaten) play hard all the time and love each other. Gypsy loves our cats, they just don't quite feel the same, but everyone gets along. We are so happy we have her!!! Thank you.
Cooper was greeted with the biggest smiles. He's been fantastic and so much fun for our family to have a pup again!
I am attaching a few pictures of Eddie, our big marshmallow! We can't thank you enough for giving us the chance to bring him home to our family. We can't imagine life without him. Everyone that meets Eddie just adores him, he is so special. Before we found Eddie we had been considering the Wheaten breed and we are so happy that we made that choice. What a great family dog, he loves to run 5Ks with Mom, fetch with Dad and is always ready to wind down on the foot of our 2 year old daughters bed at night. Thank you again for everything! The Eddie's Mom and Dad
Thank you for our puppy Winnie. We just Love her! She is so sweet. We tell everyone about how great you are. Thank you for answering my MANY questions!

Dear Carol: Sadie is now 1½ years old and thought I would send you a few photos. We are so crazy about her and she has been a great puppy and ended up being a tri-color wheaten and weighs about 33lbs. She has never destroyed anything in the house, is very entertaining and also entertains herself. She loves her kennel so that makes life easy. She never barks unless something scares her or is unusual (like a new snowman). She walks well by me side unless she is interested in another dog. Thanks for a wonderful puppy.

Hi, Bill Prim and Cali are both doing well. They are currently in level 2 obedience class- aced level one. Prim started experimenting in an elementary school as a therapy dog starting at only four months old. She loves kids. She will go on the playground equipment and therapy swings with them. She did some miraculous work with a low level student. She is back this year for continued training and will take over the position when she is certified. This is her first school picture.
We've had Lanie for almost 2 years and she gets sweeter with each passing day. Her temperament is sweet, loving and playful. She has yet to meet a creature, (animal or human) she doesn't like. She does wonderfully with kids of all ages and always takes her lead to play from the other dog. She loves to be around people and at a party or family event you can find her laying in the middle of the event, on someone's feet, after she is sure she has greeted everyone. I have so many people ask if she's "really a wheaten?" because "she is so calm". She topped out at 27 pounds, which may be on the small side for a wheaten, but is a wonderful size for my kids and their friends to play with, and the perfect size for a house dog. I often take her to a nursing home to visit and the residents just love her and she does great with them as well. Her coat is beautiful, thick and silky and we get comments on it frequently. "How do you keep her coat so beautiful?" I have to tell them truthfully that we just get her groomed about every 5 weeks and it seems to take care of itself. She steals everyone's heart that she meets and I can't tell you how many times we get asked for the name of the breeder or have someone tell us, "she really needs to be in advertisements or television, because she is soooo cute!". We agree, but don't see a Hollywood career in her future as she plays much too big a role right here in our own family. We take her to a doggy day care a few afternoons a week to get some good play time and socialization and the staff tell me, she is one of the best dogs they have. She plays for 4 hours straight and does well with all sizes and breeds of dogs, little to big.
We can't imagine our lives without her, Carol. Not sure if you remember, but we got her a few years after my husband died. My girls were in 3rd and 4th grade. She has added so much joy to all of our lives, it's amazing. I have some family and friends who don't consider themselves dog lovers, but they all concede they love Lanie! Thanks again for all the work you do to raise such lovely dogs!
On a side note, I must tell you I am considering doing some agility training with her. She can, and has jumped and cleared our 4.5 foot fence in the back yard when she was in pursuit of a chipmunk. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw her fly through the air and clear the fence! We walk at least 3 miles a day and if we miss more than a day due to rain or snow, she goes to daycare to get some good exercise, but I think her jumping ability was inborn! :)
Let me know if you need anything else! I hardly dare go look at your website for fear I may end up with two Wheatens of the Valley! :) Take care.
Rachelle
Hi Carol, thought you might like to know about the female puppy you sold us! Well....she is something! And we just love her!! She is a little terror around the house and yes she is not supposed to be on the furniture...but she rips around the couches and then leaps on them and then runs like her butt is on fire! We laugh so hard and so much at her! What a joy she is. Everyday is something new with her.
She has been to the vet twice now for her shots and she is done except for Rabies next month. And she barks at me when she needs to go outside potty! Can you believe that? We keep her in the kitchen (most of the time) as that has ceramic tile so she can't get into trouble, except for going potty...no big deal.
She is holding herself through the night most of the time. Again I think that is terrific for such a young pup. Last visit she was over 17 pounds and doing fine!
I thought you would like to know about her, as we raise horses and I always enjoy a note from the new owner telling me how happy they are with the horse.
So far she is always on a very long leash as she does not listen to come when we call her...but that will happen soon as she is getting better.
Oh, yes she also fetches the ball and bring it back to us when we throw it. Very smart pup!
Thanks again.
Dear Bill, just want to share with you our beloved Boomer making a splash on the Morningside College campus with our new students. He is the perfect dog! Thanks so much for this wonderful Wheatie!!
Hi Bill, wanted to let you and Carol know our boy Fritz is doing great! He loves his crate and has only been up once at night. He's hard to get a good picture of him because he's always running and playing! Thanks again!
Good afternoon Bill! We just wanted to reach out again, and say how thankful we are! We love our dog Roxy! She's perfect for us! We also met two other owners of Wheatens from you guys! Each of us love our Wheatens! Thank you and we will recommend you to anyone who asks where to get an amazing, energetic, trainable dog!
Christmas Greetings! Oscar is full of spunk and loves everyone he meets! The perfect addition to our family
This is Maeve. Thought you would like a picture of her at 2 years old. We absolutely adore her!!
Max at 16.5 weeks. We LUV him so much. He's pretty much potty trained! His Wheaten color is coming out. Had a puppy groom last week - hates the dryer. We have to work on that with our hair dryer. My son and his wife are here from California. They are having so much fun with him!
This is Ella. She came with us right before Thanksgiving last year!
Update on Ida: almost 6 months old now! Loves cuddles and kisses. Fully crate trained and very minimal accidents in the house. Loving this cool weather to run and play in the snow.
We've had an amazing experience with Bill & Carol. From the moment we were notified that Milo was born, they taught us and recommended us all of the necessary vaccinations and training habits. Gotta love the teething stages, ha! They've been more than patient throughout the process, passionate, and caring. They love what they do & you can see this! I've recommended them to many friends and family that were on the search for a great breeder. The search stops here! Milo is already 7 months, such a big boy! Healthy and energetic. Thank you so much for all you do, we love our newest family member & look forward to returning back to you in the future!
Her name is Stella and she's been great! Of course our 9 year old Wheaten is annoyed, Merry Christmas!
We send along this picture of Lachlan and Cooper with the following thanks to add to your testimonials. Cooper is now 12 years old, and Lucky joined us three weeks ago. We are so delighted with the quality of your dogs, their intelligence, and their gentle nature. Cooper has been a loyal companion to all of us in the family and to my son, in particular. My son requested his own puppy for his life in Denver, and Lucky has joined our family since we picked him up from you. Lucky exhibits the same, kind, friendly, and happy nature that we remember from Cooper’s time as a puppy. Lucky is learning so quickly, and we see his growth every day. We are most grateful for the calm and loving nature of your line of Wheatens. Cooper has other relatives in our area from families who have adopted a Wheaten from your line, and they all comment on the same pleasant and calm nature of these dogs. Thank you so much for enriching our family in this way.
